The WWise Adventure Game

Adventures in interactive music design

In the Fall 2021 semester, Andrew wrote and incorporated a new score for Audiokinetic’s WWise Adventure Game as part of the Scoring Techniques: Video Games course at NYU Steinhardt.

On this page, I’ll be sharing some information about my approach to this project—my compositional choices and overall music direction, the asset implementation and structure I chose to go with, and some of the reasons and methodologies for designing the score the way I did. This will have to be an ongoing, phased sharing process, as I do still have a lot of other things on my plate and can only devote so much time to putting together my thoughts and materials into a reasonable presentation.

Check back soon for updates!

In the meantime, here’s a brief look at the implementation of music early on in the game…
